Private Lessons

One on One with the Coach

One on One with the Coach

Camden Tennis Academy conducts tennis coaching lessons on Saturday mornings and each week day afternoon, during the state school terms. Apart from running School Holiday Tennis Clinics, we do NOT coach on school holidays, public holidays or any long weekends. Most coaching is conducted at the South Camden Tennis Club court complex. Located in the Ron Dine Reserve, off McCrae Drive, South Camden, right next to the Tigers Soccer oval.

When you join Camden Tennis Academy for coaching lessons, you can be assured that the Coach that is teaching you or your child is a fully qualified and accredited Professional Tennis Coach.

For a private lesson the student receives individual and specific time (one on one) with the coach. The student receives the undivided attention of the coach, identifying problem areas such as footwork, approaching the ball correctly, early preparation, swing path and of course stroke correction. The student receives instant analysis, the cause of any faults and then the correction. The speed of this analysis and correction is crucial to the accelerated development of the player receiving private coaching.

Private coaching is suitable for all playes from beginners to the elite. With private coaching in the early and habit forming time of young or new players, bad habits are identified earlier and corrected, leading to a more trouble free transition from beginner, to intermediate, to elite player. As most coaches are aware it is far better NOT to allow bad habits to form, rather than attempt to break them when firmly established.

The downside to private coaching is that the student or their parents have no one else to share the cost of the coaching lessons. Semi-private or shared lessons enable students to share the lesson time and hence reduce the cost.

Gift Certificate

Junior Comp

Camden Tennis Academy's Gift Certificates provide an excellent opportunity to give some one a chance to get into tennis for the first time, or some one that use to play, the chance to get back into the game. Either way, a great gift idea for that hard to buy for friend or relative and a great way to keep them fit and healthy.

Please contact Craig on 0413 805 235 or send me an Email, and we'll arrange the certificate and suitable coaching times, for the recipient.
