Accessing Winners R Grinners (Junior Comp) information, can only be made by players and parents of players that are competing in our organized junior tennis competitions.
Some parents are concerned that their personal home phone numbers can be accessed on this site by people that would use them in the wrong manner. We respect their right to privacy and for that reason we have restricted access to all competition information.
Only those players and parents with a legitimate need to use competition and contact information (obtain draws, teams, reserves, replacements, etc) will be able to access this resource.
Each player is asked to supply a User-name and Password. To access any competition information, you must log on, using your User name and Password. When you log on, as a registered member of Camden Tennis Academy, all competition information is then viewable.
If you, the competition player, have not been allocated a User-name and Password, then contact Craig on 0413 805 235 as soon as possible and he will provide you with the details to gain access to all your competition information.
These competitions are internet based and all relevant information, such as Draws, Teams, Players and Contact phone numbers are provided on this website. No hard copy of competition information is supplied to players. This website is set up to allow participants to print all competition information easily, simply by pressing the print button found at the top right hand corner of each article.
Because all participants are playing for major prize money, CTA will grade and formulate all teams in an effort to make them as even as possible. All singles matches are umpired and thanks to attending parents, so are most of the doubles matches.
All our competitions are all run from the South Camden Tennis Club complex. The tennis complex and playing surface on these courts are second to none is the Camden area. Plenty of parking and great facilities ensure that all participants, family and friends, enjoy their time while involved or watching our junior competitions.
You've got to be in it to win it
Our competitions are run in the afternoon after school and generally start at 5pm. This gives most kids time to get home, have a bite to eat and get down to the courts at South Camden Tennis Club ready to play there match. We are now throwing the competition open to outside players, however these players will have to be graded to ensure the integrity of the competition and make it as fair as possible for all competitors.
Some quick details:-
- Normally 2 or 3 man teams.
- Each match should be completed within 2 hours.
- The prize pool is $300 or greater for each comp. (conditions apply)
- There must be a minimum of 16 players to max the prize pool.
- The prize pool is reduced, according to the number of players entered.
- Entry fees for the competition is normally set between $55 and $60 per player.
- The competition is run over a normal state school term (10 weeks).
- Players attitude is policed - points can and will be deducted for poor sportsmanship
